Training Session During September Holidays

To: All Cadets
This is to inform you that there is training session during the September holidays.

 The objective of the training session are as follows:
a) to build camaraderie among the cadets from various levels
b) to show empathy towards the less fortunate through home visit

 The details of the training sessions are as follows:
Date: Monday 8th September
Venue: Red Cross Home for the Disabled/TK Grounds
Time: 0830h - 1700h

 Please note that attendance is compulsory and absence from the camp needs to be accompanied by a Medical Certificate (MC) or a parent's letter.

There will be a day camp this Monday, 8/09/14 from 8.30pm - 5.00pm. Please Fall-In in front of the Red Cross notice board at 8.30pm sharp. Please have your Breakfast before coming.

 Take note that  this training would mainly consist the home visit to red cross home and Foot drill Silver Accreditation. Those who have passed are STILL required to bring their full red cross uniform. Please revise thoroughly. we would want as many of you to pass. Do not let what happened during the previous accreditation happen again. Dylan, Harshini and Valerie, please contact one of your seniors to collect the parents letter for the day camp. The rest, please inform them. Please do inform your squadmates on what to bring on for training if they are unable to check the blog. Attendance for training is compulsory, absence from training must be accompanied by a medical certificate or parent's letter.

  Take note that this Friday's training, we would be NOT be conducting footdrill  practical accreditation. Full Red Cross Uniform is not needed. However, for those who did not pass their footdrill theory paper, we would be conducting footdrill silver theory accreditation. Ms liz would  like to meet up with those who are involved in CAC. during training. you would be excused during training.Please do inform your squadmates on what to bring on Friday's training if they are unable to check the blog. Attendance for training is compulsory, absence from training must be accompanied by a medical certificate or parent's letter.

The results for last week's footdrill accreditation would be put up on the notice board by Wednesday. please take note that to pass you would need to attain at least 75%. those who passed would be given their footdrill silver badge this training

Take note that this Friday's training, we would be conducting footdrill accreditation. We expect 100% passes so please revise your notes thoroughly. last week I passed my footdrill silver notes to Thein Mwei, if any of you need the notes, please find her for a copy.There are two components for the accreditation namely theory paper and practical. If any of you are missing accessories for your uniform, please inform the management team before this Friday. last week, i went through the criteria on how to prepare your uniforms. For those who were absent lat week, please ask your squadmates. Please do inform your squadmates on what to bring on Friday's training if they are unable to check the blog. Attendance for training is compulsory, absence from training must be accompanied by a medical certificate or parent's letter.

Important Notices

To: All Cadets

  This post to to update all of you on the upcoming events approaching this month. Please take note of these dates.

1) NDP rehearsal
 t  There would be a  FULL DRESS rehearsal this Monday (4/8/14). All NDP participants re required to attend this full dress rehearsal.It would be from 4-6pm. If you are unable to attend/late for this event, please inform any of the sec 3s early. We expect full attendance. Fall in in front of the Red Cross notice board at 3:45pm Sharp for Uniform inspection. We would also be giving all of you your badges and ranks on Monday. Due to a Shortage of resources, we are not able to provide all of you with badges so it will be a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis.

2)Accreditations
  -Foot drill accreditation 
   We would be conducting foot drill Silver accreditation on the 22 August. Please revise thoroughly on your foot drill silver commands. I passed the list of commands to Thein mwei during the previous training. Please get a copy from her ASAP to revise. If there are any questions, please approach your seniors. The accreditation would also involve UI (Uniform Inspection). for any questions on how to prepare your uniforms, please ask your squad mates. If you do not attend the accreditation, there would NOT be another retest without any valid reason.

3) Modular workshops
    There would be a modular workshop on the 23rd of august for these subjects
-Disaster Management (silver)
-Red Cross Knowledge (Gold)
-Foot Drill (fundamentals)

    Only 5 cadets are allowed to enter each of the following workshop. It would be a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis but we are giving priorities to the sec 2s. This is  the list of sec 2s who are attending the following workshops

1) Disaster Management (silver)

2) Red Cross Knowledge (Gold)
-Jing Yang
-Hao Yuan
-Jonathan 

 3)Foot Drill (fundamentals)
-Kimberly
-Thein Mwei

  We are still accepting cadets to participate for the following workshops. If you are interested, please inform me latest by tomorrow 2359. You are not allowed to participate in more than one workshop. if you are willing to participate in the RCK gold workshop, we would be accrediting you on RCK silver on the 22nd of August before training. 

  Please do inform you other squadmates about the following notices if they are unable to check the blog. side note, all the best for your common tests! And all those who are participating in the school NDP this friday, All the best! we are so proud of you!
